RUSSIA—AFRICA SUMMIT AND ECONOMIC FORUM | October 23-24, 2019, Sochi. For the first time in recent history, the Russia-Africa Summit was held. More than 40 African heads of state, as well as high-level representatives from all 54 African countries, attended the event. The scale of the event shows the seriousness of the parties’ intentions for further active and fruitful cooperation.
African Business Initiative UNION took an active part in the Summit and the Economic Forum. In the course of the work and business negotiations, a number of agreements were reached, the implementation of which will be aimed at developing cooperation between Russia and African countries and promoting projects in the trade, economic, scientific, technical, educational, medical, cultural, and public spheres of activity.
