5 November 2020, Moscow will host the II Russian-African Public Forum (RAPF 2020).
The forum is organized by the “Africa Business Initiative” UNION and the World Alumni Association.
The event is part of the Russia’s international strategy to develop and strengthen trade, economic, social and cultural relations with the countries of the African continent, as well as to build a stronger institutional foundation for Russian-African cooperation.

As part of Russia's international strategy to develop and strengthen trade, economic, social and cultural relations with the countries of the African continent, as well as build a more solid institutional foundation for Russian-African cooperation, it was decided to organize and hold the first Russia-Africa Public Forum in Moscow.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is an annual Russian business event in the economic sphere held in St. Petersburg since 1997 and since 2005 with the participation of the President of Russia. Each year, the number of participants exceeds 4 thousand people who come from more than 60 countries.

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin summed up the results of the Summit and the Economic Forum: "The first Russia-Africa summit has ended. Taking stock of the two days of its work, we can tell right away that this event opened a new page in Russia’s relations with the states of the African continent. The meeting was businesslike but at that the time very friendly, if not sincere, which created a special atmosphere of our discussions.

Africa Business Initiative

ABI began its existence as a project in March 2016, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of the African diplomatic corps and academia.
